A new month is here

A new month is here, a new slate to work with, I am hoping this month will not be as stressful as August was. I can already see it will be a no or low spend month. Bills are a bit high so I will have little money after paying each bill, and groceries.

I went yesterday to Wal Mart and got several things and left there just under $140 lighter, but I should not need to go back there for a month or so, I hope, I did have some coupons that I used, expired 8/31/12 so I needed to use them up.

I  can see in the forecast where we will have a bit of rain remnants of Issac on Monday, so I will be in with that forecast, and I will need to work on laundry over the week end. I will strip the beds and wash sheets and hang them out today,  and maybe a load of clothes, the towels will be washed tomorrow, and another load of clothes.

I have a few goals for this month in mind, but I have to look and see if I have the supplies on hand if not, they will have to wait.

I do know I have a sewing project well 3 maybe 4 in mind, a top to finish up, some sleep pants to make for Christmas gifts, and I want to make a table runner, I just have to look and see if I have everything. I have enough plastic canvas projects to keep me busy so I am not worried about that one, I have 4 of them cut out already so that is not an issue. I shall look some for the Halloween tissue box cover on my UFO list and if I can find that, I shall finish that one too, and either gift it next month or use it here at home.

Do you have any goals this month that you would like to share?

I see fall coming in several ways, as I have heard the same from others too. I saw a tree yesterday that leaves were falling off of already, just not sure if it was fall or drought sign it was not colored leaves, they were green, so I am not sure what that is from but the bare looking tree made me think of late fall.

Picture from campground before it closed, the lazy days of summer are about gone.

Enjoy your Holiday week end

till later
